A common practice is to record multiple similar datasets. SpectraFox is able to calculate the average of these, nevertheless if they are stored in the same file, or in different files.
Select the columns to be averaged on the right hand side of the window, click the "average columns"-button, and store the output with the "save column"-button, if the result satisfies you.
Only columns that all the files have in common are shown. Select the column of interest and click the apply-button. The output is stored right away as additional column in each file.
