RequirementsAndCompatibility
To run SpectraFox you need the following system requirements:
- Microsoft Windows Vista or higher (x86 or x64)
- .NET Framework 4.5
- 50 MB disk space
- the amount of required system memory depends on the size of the measurement project: approx. 500 MB per 10000 files
If you do not have installed the .NET Framework, it will be installed automatically during the setup process.
SpectraFox is a manufacturer independent open-source software. It is maintained by researchers who use scanning tunneling microscopes and atomic force microscopes in their daily work. Thus it contains several import routines to handle different measurement data file formats of various manufacturers.
So far, it can handle data generated by hardware of the following manufacturers:
